POSITION DESCRIPTION:

ESTIMATOR

Responsibilities: Full charge responsibility for preparing estimates for new projects including quantity take-off, solicitation and review of subcontract bids, preconstruction budgets from schematic and DD drawings, constructability review, value engineering. Supports project management as needed with estimates for construction changes. Supports marketing efforts as needed with conceptual and preconstruction services estimates.

Qualifications: Degree in Construction Management or related area or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years full-time estimating experience. Minimum 5 years construction experience. Experience estimating all of the following project types is desirable: medical, biotech, office core & shell, TI, multi-residential, retail, public works, hospitality, church, restaurant, specialty, design-build.

Position Type: This position could be flexible format: full-time or part-time, salaried or hourly. Will consider semi-retired individual with extensive experience.

Salary: Competitive, compensation level commensurate with experience.
